Here are six observations from Yankees beat reporter Brendan Kuty in Tampa on Day 2 of spring training.
TAMPA The passenger jet looked like it was flying way too low.
Its not unusual for airplanes to soar over the Yankees player development complex. Usually, theyre on the smaller side, private planes with maybe two dozen seats hitting a shorter ramp at Tampa International Airport. But this Southwest flight roared right over Field 2 before Yankees pitchers and catchers started their workout Friday morning. For a second, one could have imagined an emergency landing.
